The Municipality of Lambunao will be having a municipal education summit scheduled for June.

As per the meeting by the members of the Local School Board (LSB), the Municipal Education Summit will be on June 3, 2026, at the Lambunao Sports Center.

This event aims to gather municipal officials and representatives from the local government unit down to the barangay level; officials from the Department of Education (DepEd); school administrators; and community stakeholders to discuss educational challenges, including enhancing literacy and numeracy, addressing facility deficiencies, and improving reading proficiency to develop collaborative, data-driven action plans.

Aside from that, the LSB discussed the additional financial benefit for those LSB teachers providing services for the Summer ARAL Program, as well as the support for SUGID KABASA: A Culturally-Rooted Community Literacy and Multi-Platform Program in Lambunao.

The discussion started with the Special Education Fund (SEF) utilization as of April 21 by municipal accountant Sofia G. Halago.

Vice Mayor Arvin L. Losaria served as the presiding officer during the LSB meeting on April 29, 2026, held at the Lambunao Government Center Conference Room.
